CLIFTON PARK — What a difference a week can make for the Shenendehowa girls varsity lacrosse program; Plainsmen varsity coach Jennifer Sykes was pulling her hair out during the squad’s pre-season scrimmage versus Queensbury, but that frown turned upside down as Shenendehowa routed Ballston Spa 19-3 Tuesday night at Brent T. Steuerwald Stadium and she has the Spartans to thank for the turnaround.
