Thandie Newton says she was told that her hair was too 'ghetto' for a school photograph
Thandie Newton has claimed that her old school refused to let her have her photo taken because of her "braided hair". The British actress star inherited afro hair from her Nigerian mother and she's recalled how the nuns who ran her school in Cornwall singled her out for looking different.
